Koinonia Academy is a not-for-profit tutoring service for Catholic home schooling parents. The goal of Koinonia Academy is to provide an excellent formation in the Catholic faith and an excellent program which will help form your children for the world today and for eternity!
The Academy offers an entire curriculum from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The tutors at the academy are committed to providing individualized instruction, geared to the student's learning style. To that end, almost all material is taught through use of all of the senses, thus insuring that whatever the true learning style of the student, it will be accessed.
Loyal to the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. All associated with Koinonia Association and its Academy have taken an oath of fidelity to uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Our Lady Academy
The faculty and staff of Our Lady Academy, guided by the Holy Spirit and Our Lady, provide a true Catholic education by stressing the importance of absolute truth as revealed by Jesus Christ and as faithfully transmitted by His Holy Catholic Church.
We provide a curriculum permeated by the truths of the Catholic Faith, as well as a challenging college preparatory academic program.
We teach by word and action, love and respect for and adherence to the teaching authority of the Church. This allows that the students, with the intercession of Our Lady, may come to a greater knowledge and love of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Our Lady Academy is blessed to have a principal and a teaching staff that have many years of Catholic education experience. Our Lady Academy offers a traditional college preparatory Catholic education for grades K-12 with a low teacher to student ratio.
Our Lady Academy offers a rich Sacramental life, including: daily Mass, Confession, Adoration of the Blessed Sacraments, Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and other devotions.

We are an independent Catholic school for students in grades K-8. For over twenty years Huron Valley Catholic School has provided a nurturing and faith-filled environment where students can grow and learn. We believe that the academic and moral formation of our young go hand-in-hand. Our dedicated staff and faculty are deeply committed to the spiritual, intellectual and social development of each student.
Through our carefully chosen curriculum we strive to cultivate values and skills most important in life. Our teachers making learning fun and stimulating, creatively presenting material that is meaningful.
The essential curriculum is traditional. Basic skills are emphasized, with instruction given in grammar, phonics, spelling math, traditional American history, geography, and use of the scientific method. Also important is the cultivation of study and organizational skills.
We teach our students to become active, life-long learners, and give them the basis for essential skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and communication. We believe that students learn differently, thus, our teachers use many proven educational methods to reach students and meet objectives.
Our whole curriculum aims to “relate all human culture eventually to the Good News of Salvation, so that the life of faith will illumine the knowledge which students gradually gain of the world, of life, and of mankind.” (Christian Education #8). Huron Valley Catholic School participates in the wider mission of the Church through proclamation of Christ in the light of the Scriptures, Catholic tradition, and through its academic, athletic and social programs.
In cooperation with the educational mission of the Catholic Church, our purpose is to form and develop the whole person as a reflection of the perfect person, Jesus, Son of God, in whom all human values find their fulfillment and unity. This includes the integral development of each child: spiritually, morally, intellectually, psychologically, socially, culturally, artistically, and physically.
